Why is it so hard to get a good hair cut?

i go in tell them how i want it cut and its never what i explained. i have been to six different hair cut people this year and only went back to one, twice but he got lazy and i never know if they get pissed if you tell them they did a bad job.

i know i have the same problem...hair dressers do my head in ...they dont know what you want no matter how hard you try 2explain to them,......the only advice i can say is keep trying different salons until you like your hair style....OR go back to the 1 you already when to twice....and when the are done...if u still dont like your hair....tel them it wasnt the style you was looking for..and wanted it a bit different...they might have the mardies or not...but least u told them...so i think they wil aprecate the comment..as the will know in future...and they might even listern more carefully to what style u want next time....OR...take a picture of a hair style that u want from a magazine or the internet and give the hairdresser the picture tel them u want that style......when thay are done... if it dont look like the picture...them tel them it doe'snt look the same...hope this helps..

Why don't you get someone to draw a picture, or find one online, of the style you want? You're paying the barber to cut your hair the way you want it, after all.

bring a picture! as a man, this may be a tough thing to do, but it is worth it. if you are too embarrassed to bring a photo to the barbershop, then go to a salon, it will not be out of the ordinary there. if you get a good salon cut, then you can go to the barbershop for upkeep. it will be easy to maintain once you get it how you like it : )
