Does anybody know how I can convince my parents to let me get my hair cut?

I really want my hair cut, and they won't let me get it cut I need it before my graduation on May 23, or Thursday. Please, does anybody have a way I can convince them.

I'm not sure why they wont let you, but if its because they dont want you to have that style then perhaps you should discuss it with them. Why not sit them down and talk about it rationally, instead of letting it get into a big fight or something. Let them know why you want it cut (write down some reasons beforehand and make them sound impressive and well thought out.) If they still wont, then maybe suggest a compromise, not too short but opt for a mid-lentgh. Then you could get it layered which looks awesome but it means they might by happier because its not ultra short. If they are concerned about cost then maybe find a friend or family member (that you trust!) who could cut if for you. Good luck!

What are you graduating? If it's highschool, I'd say go get it cut! What can they do afterwards? Glue it back on? If it's elementary school, do what your parents say... Long hair looks cute on girls :))

Why do you wanna get your hair cut I got my hair cut and I was so so so so MAD. I didn't like it. it was to short I was used to my hair being long.

Your parents are probably proud of your hair and think it is beautiful. I say you should leave it the way they like it for now. At least until after the ceremony and they take their photos of you finishing up the 8th grade. Then cut it over the summer. My daughter was the same.
