my 11 year old cut her hair and hates it now. she wants it to grow another 6 inches. how can we make it grow longer?

make sure she's eating well, be gentle with it, don't brush it when it's wet, don't wash it too much, keep it conditioned, get it trimmed regularly. that may seem like the opposite of what you should do, but you need to. if you don't keep it trimmed it will just be all split ends that will split up further and you'll end up with shorter hair after you cut off all the nasty split ends. so nip that in the bud. hair grows about 1/2" per month MAX, so it'll take about a year. guess you can always get her extensions or a wig, but she's kinda young for that.

It should grow naturally, isn't it. I think over time it would grow back again. Tell her not to worry and to be happy.

If there is a method, I'm not sure of it though. So, all the best in trying.

You can't. It will just have to grow naturally on it's own. Hair only averages about an inch every few months and you can't speed that up. Thats is how your body is.

i asked a similar question, and someone told me to use prenatel pills, their just vitimens they wont hurt you, but first confirm with your doctor, that is what im going to do i bet you are happy now !!! tell your daughter to smile, dont be scared to try it :)
