Should i go for a drastic change when i get my hair cut?

my hair is really long and straight... i want it cut to above my shoulders and have like lots of layers in it. i was thinking about have a dark colour put in under a side fringe so my natural hair colour (darkish blonde) would be on the top..... but i'm not sure and a bit worried that it would be a really drastic change....

LOL....i wouldn't go for RIGHT above the shoulders....beacuse short isnt to hot iight now....what i would do is do the "above Boobs" hair.....that way its not to short/not to long! =)

Also do yourself a favour and get really nice sid bangs which are hot this season....

Yes- go for it! Hair grows back- so take a chance! You will be amazed at how a completely different hair style can set you on the path of self discovery, as people will comment, and this(given it is a nice hair cut!) will make you feel good enough about yourself to make other possitive changes in your life. All you have to lose is a little hair- have fun.

This may sound a bit daft but i wonder if there is some where you could go and try on a few wigs,i say this as you will get some idea of what your hair will look like,when we do things that are sooooo different, it can some times be a shock, at least this way you could maybe stop doing some thing drastic,and then get some good ideas from other styles.

if its what u really want i think u should go for it! if ur really worried ask, close friends and family for their opinion and also speak to ur hairdresser, they will all give u the advice u need as we cant tell whether the hairstyle would suit ur face shape and fashion choice. hope that helps! good luck

Do it!! I'm a firm believer in making drastic changes to as many aspects to your life as possible as often as possible. It keeps things interesting and fresh. At the end of the day it's only hair, if you hate it it will grow back and you can dye it. But if you like it you will feel amazing - nothing like a complete make over. You will feel great even if it takes you a couple of days to get used to it.

i had the same problem i had long straight hair always tied up so decided to hav it cut like sarah harding from girls aloud so i had 10 inches cut off i dont regret it at all and im havin chunks of brown put in soon cos pink wont last long enuf its only hair if u dont like it u can hav a bit more cut off or jus grow it again go on b a devil

i had my long straight hair cut into a short graduated bob and i love it. loads easier to keep tidy and quicker to dry in the morning.
